We've seen many feminist decks which help females explore their issues and identities. Now there is a deck for gay men to do the same.
From the booklet: Gay men deserve a tarot deck which can provide a non-threatening venue in which to explore issues of relationship and of how to deal with a society whose attitudes toward homeosexuality range from indifference to hostility. It is for this reason that the Gay Tarot, like many of the feminist decks, emphasizes themes of self-reliance, self-esteem, and a positive self-image.
Traditional major arcana titles are used with the exception of five cards: the High Priestess becomes the Intuitive, the Empress becomes the Protector, the Devil becomes Self-Hatred, the Tower becomes Revelation, and Judgement becomes Beyond Judgment. The court cards differ in that they are renamed: Youth, Man, Guide, and Sage.
