The exqusite watercolor painting of the artist represent the Arthurian counterparts to tarot's traditional figures, including Merlin as the Magician, Morgan le Fay as the Moon, Mordred as the King of Swords, and Arthur as the Emperor. Suits are swords, cups, shields, and spears. Justice is 11 and Strength is 8.

Published by Llewellyn, the deck includes 78 cards and an instruction booklet. Cards are 2.75 x 4.75 inches. Fits into our "regular" size tarot bags, "regular" padded cases, or embroidered bags. Titles at the top of the cards identify the tarot card and titles at the bottom identify the specific Arthurian legend depicted in the illustration. This second title is extremely helpful in bringing a greater understanding and depth to the deck.
