Spreadcloths and tarot bags for Tarot of the Pagan Cats and Sacred Sites Tarot
7/31/2012 11:20:34 AM
It is easy for us to fall in love with Lo Scarabeo and Llewellyn tarot decks and even easier to visualize our fabrics with those decks. It just seems to happen when we see a new deck. We've designed some bags to house those newly released tarot decks. Please take a look. We hope you find one that is just right for you.
To house the lovely Sacred Sites Tarot Deck, to be released in Sept. 2012, we love the "Elements of Air" (clouds) tarot bag. That deck has an abundance of puffy white clouds in the background of the illustrations. See our bag here: http://www.tarottotes.com/item.asp?iid=1874
To store the Tarot of Pagan Cats deck our "Cat Moods" and "Stalkers and Nappers" bags are ideal. View here: http://www.tarottotes.com/item.asp?iid=1016 and http://www.tarottotes.com/item.asp?iid=1555 . We even have a spread cloth in the "Cat Moods" fabric. http://www.tarottotes.com/item.asp?iid=1764
For the about to be released mini version of the Tarot of Pagan Cats (due Sep. 2012), we have a spreadcloth that would match nicely. It has crescent moons like the crescent moons on the backside illustration for that deck. See "Moon Phases" spreadcloth here: http://www.tarottotes.com/item.asp?iid=1935
If you are fond of cats and like embroidered tarot bags, then we have a spectacular cat bag for you called "Black Cat." It is a One-of-a-Kind bag, so snatch it up quickly before someone else does. See it here: http://www.tarottotes.com/item.asp?iid=1918
Tarot of the Pirates and Tarot of Vampyres deck bags
7/31/2012 10:32:20 AM
Do you have a naked tarot deck that needs a themed bag to sleep in when not being used? Our design team has created many beautiful tarot bags to coordinate with Llewellyn tarot and oracle decks. Here are just two.
Tarot of the Pirates by Bepi Vigna with artwork by Michele Benevento is a wonderful coordination with our "Pirate Treasure" tarot bag. See it here: http://www.tarottotes.com/item.asp?iid=1393
Tarot of Vampyres by artist Ian Daniels is well housed in our Red Rose tarot bag. The backside illustration on that deck is a single red rose. Our bag has red roses on long stems against a black background. See the bag here: http://www.tarottotes.com/item.asp?iid=1651
Bargain Bonanza! I've decided it is time to clear out some of my cat fabric bags. I haven't put them on sale for over two years.
Today, I found more cat fabrics online and I'm eager to buy them, but I promised myself not to buy more cat fabric until I'd sold most of the current ones. This is good for you because I've just slashed the prices on all feline-themed bags and spreadcloths.
Some of the tarot bags have big cats, like the lion that is typically seen on the Strength card. Some of the tarot bags have calicos, tabbies, Persians, Siamese, and other domesticated felines. Take your pick.
Stock up now while they are reduced. Why not buy tarot bags to give as gifts during the holidays? You don't even need to restrain yourself by giving only to tarot reading friends. Teens love these as jewelry, cosmetic, and misc. treasures bags. Do you know someone who is mad for CATS?
We thought that you would like to know that our monthly newsletter includes more than New Products introductions. In all upcoming issues, we will also be including two new features. One is called Wisdom from the Authors. In it we will include a quote from the featured tarot author of the month. The wit and wisdom will come either from a book by that author or from his/her blog.
Additionally, we will be providing Tarot in Film and TV trivia in a quiz format. Don't worry you won't have to wait a whole month to find out if you are correct. We'll provide the answers at the bottom of the page.
Why not share the fun? Please tell your friends to sign up for our monthly newsletter at www.tarottotes.com .
Do you love to blog about tarot? If so, here is a list of some of the tarot experts--authors and artists--that we like to read about and interact with on a regular basis. Share your viewpoint. Join the fun!

Have you seen someone reading tarot cards in a film or on TV?

Tarot at the Movies and on Television
For ten years now, we have been compiling lists, as a service to the tarot community, of movies and television programs that have shown tarot cards in at least one scene. Will you help us with these lists?
Your contributions are needed. We ask that you read the questions below and submit your information in the format suggested so that the listings can provide consistent information. To see the current lists, just click on the buttons marked "Movies" or "Television" on our website at www.tarottotes.com in the LEARN section. Please don't submit any of those same titles. However, if some of the information is still missing in those entries, we would welcome that information.
Please include as much of the following information as you are able to provide for each of the films or TV programs that you remember seeing tarot or oracle cards in:
Movie or television program's title.
Name(s) of the actor(s) who read or handled the cards and the character(s) played.
Deck used or shown.
Description of the scene where the cards were used or the general plot of the story. (Try to keep this brief, no more than 5 sentences.)
Year of the movie's release. Episode title for the TV program.
Share your contributions via email by sending them to me at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will list your name (if you give permission for us to do so) on our website as a contributor.
We have eleven new products in our catalog today. Some of them are unusual sizes for those undersized and oversized decks that can be so troublesome to fit. There are two new runes pouch/short bags and two new Wide bags. One giant tarot bag for those really oversized teaching decks or for putting a deck and book inside of the same bag. Three regular size tarot bags have been added and a couple of sets for those customers that are fond of having a bag that matches the spreadcloth.
Collectors of all things Dragon-like will love the new double draw bag with large winged flying dragon silhouettes.
Of course these bags are not alone in these categories. Previously, we have placed dozen and dozens of other bags in each of these collections. Looking for something to match a specific deck? We can probably help with that. Use our search engine box to type in the name of the deck. A list of bags that we have designed with that deck in mind will appear. Click the links or thumbnails to see larger pictures and read more descriptions.
It's been a busy day. We made a new tarot bag plus spreadcloth set called Galaxies out of a beautiful Robert Kaufman metallic celestial print fabric. This set will go with just about any deck and its versatility makes it an ideal choice for a gift to a tarot reading friend or relative. Another gorgeous gilded fabric arrived this week and we made it into a double draw bag called Orchid Peacock (feathers). It's so beautiful!
Yesterday, I listed a solid black bag in the Regency double draw section too. (Customers have been asking for this and now they have it.) For those that want to add a touch of color, we've provided an option box where they can add contrasting color by choosing one of sixteen different cord colors.
Oh, we now have our cheery Abundance bag, made from sunflower fabric, in a second style. You can buy it either as a single draw bag or a double draw bag. Both styles are for regular size decks. Visit the New Designs section to see all of these bags listed together. Happy shopping!
