Linen Rune Casting Cloth
Following ancestral traditions, this natural-colored linen and cotton cloth is ideal for casting runes. At 12 x 12 inches, it is the perfect size for that purpose and a twelve inch square cloth is the size recommended by many runemasters and authors because of the magical associations connected to the number twelve. To prevent fraying, which linen is prone to do, the edges have been sewn with a secure rolled hem. The cloth is plain when we mail it to you, but you could draw circles upon it with a fabric pen or hand embroidery it to follow your particular rune casting tradition.

Care instructions: Washable. Press using steam with iron set on cotton or linen setting.
Note: The photo makes the cloth seem tan or beige-toned, but those blotches are the shadows of the runestones. The cloth is lighter. It is the color of undyed linen, almost cream colored. The outer edges give a more accurate representation of the color.
