We use only top quality cotton cloth and sew all of our seams and edges with a serger, a type of sewing machine that uses multiple threads. That means every seam is professionally finished with a triple thread overcast - every seam has three threads binding it. The top casing is sewn on a straight stitch machine and a triangular reinforcement is sewn to provide extra durability to the drawstring opening. There is no need for the cotton bags to be lined because all the seams are professionally finished and won't fray. However, certain luxury fabrics may be lined because some are especially susceptible to fraying. If they are lined, the description will identify the lining fabric.

We could use ribbon to close our Tarot bags and save a bundle of money, but we think you deserve the best. So we only use expensive, high-quality home decorator style twisted cords. They won't tangle and twist like ribbons do, nor will they get wrinkled if washed. On most product pages, you are given the option of selecting the cord color you prefer for your bag.
