Cassidy's exquisite artwork invites you to connect to the spirit of each animal specifically selected based on Shamanic and Native American symbolism.
For example, the Spiritsong animal chosen to represent the Magician is the Raven which has attributes such as 'creation' that parallels some of the same symbolism of the tarot card. The Empress is depicted as a rabbit for its fertility symbolism and connection with the Earth (see card images below).
The Spiritsong Tarot structure is based on the traditional tarot, containing the 22 Majors, the 56 Minors, and four suits: Acorns for Wands (Fire); Feathers for Swords (Air); Shells for Cups (Water); and Crystals for Pentacles (Earth).
